Medication Therapy Management

By appointment, a trained expert can evaluate your entire medication regimen and medical conditions, and make recommendations for drug therapy changes which may enhance therapeutic outcomes, minimize adverse effects, and/or provide valuable cost savings.

Diabetes Disease State Management

Four pharmacists have completed the Diabetes Disease State Management certification and provide valuable expertise for our diabetic patients in our Diabetes Care Center. Services include in-store HbA1C screening; finger stick blood glucose; counseling on use of injectable and oral diabetic medications; education on at-home monitoring devices and pumps; nutritional consultation; individual and group education; monitoring of surrounding complications such as hypertension and hypercholesterolemia, diabetic foot exams, and custom fittings with Dr. Comfort shoes designed especially for diabetic patients.

Disease State Screenings

In-store screening and monitoring by pharmacists in our CLIA-waived laboratory includes:

• Complete Lipid Profile
• HbA1C
• Blood Glucose
• Blood Pressure

An appointment for these most of these tests is recommended. Written results are provided to the patient and/or your physician in only minutes.
